Fourth Draft [Accidental Video/Action] Something about this isn't right...

[The video clicks on showing a slowly waking Rick Castle. He grumbles, shifts a little and attempts to turn over. That is when he discovers he's handcuffed. Okay, well this isn't an entirely unfamiliar scenario to him. After all, Beckett is prone to handcuffing him to objects in an attempt to keep him where she wants him. He scrubs a hand over his face, sits up a bit and examines the situation. Well...now that's a surprise and something entirely unfamiliar.

He's handcuffed to a person.

A person who isn't a beautiful woman.

In fact, he's handcuffed to someone who looks remarkably like him.

That's right, Rick Castle is handcuffed to Captain Hammer.

Cue some bellowing]

KATE!

"This is really not going to be easy." He sighed. It wasn't awful, granted, it would be better to be handcuffed to some hot chick, but at least it wasn't Horrible. Or worse, Raikov. "Did Kara actually do this?"

Yeah not easy. Castle grumbles in response. "I don't know. I was betting on Kate."

"Ah. Kate, yes. She, too, seemed keen on the idea." Well, whoever the culprit, the faster they could get out of this. Unless it was a curse.

Oh, please, don't let it be a curse. "So. What shall we do until we figure out who did this?"

Oh God. Just the idea of what they're going to be doing until they get out of the handcuffs scares Castle.

"Okay...getting dressed should probably be a priority."

He is wearing pajama pants but he doesn't really want to go outside in them.

"Then we get coffee and find out who did this."

Hammer is not exactly ecstatic about this, either. "Yes. Perhaps." And thank god he is not a bear sleeper. In fact, he happens to wear pants and a little bit of a shirt, too. His boxers are probably silk. "Perhaps after you get dressed, we can go into my apartment."

Pause, pause. "Where is here, incidentally?"

"My apartment," Castle answered as he started to get out of bed, giving Hammer time to follow him. "You can borrow a pair of my pants if you want, until we get to your place. They'll probably fit."

"I meant what number. I reside in building One." He followed, his mind dreading what the day might bring them. Such as Raikov. Or Doctor Horrible. Or both! "Ah, yes, I suppose they would. Thank you."

"Building six," Castle answered as he rummaged through drawers one handed. He pulled out two pairs of jeans, handing one off to Hammer . Getting into the pants requires a great deal of jumping around. Sorry, Hammer, Castle just isn't that coordinated. He ends up flat on his ass.

"Ah, duly noted." He took the pants with a quick nod of thanks. He'd never really been a jeans person. It reminded him of the delinquents that often frequented the alleyways and backrooms of respectable establishments. Although theirs were usually a good deal more ripped, but all the same- And there's Castle falling.

Good thing that Hammer's strong, because he doesn't go down with him. Unfortunately for Castle, he wasn't in serious peril, nor female, so Hammer did nothing to stop him from falling. He will help him up, though. "A little slipperier than you thought, eh?" Here he is offering his hand.

And this is Castle grumbling. He reaches up and takes Hammer's hand, allowing him to help him to his feet.

"A little more difficult one handed then I had thought."

"Yes. So it would seem." A slight grin. "Although, really, I'm sure that there wouldn't be too many women that would object to our partial state of dress."
